Malayalee shot dead in Salalah, Oman

Oman: A Malayalee was shot dead in Salalah, Oman. The deceased has been identified as Moitheen, 56, of Kakkaramukku, Cheruvannur, Kozhikode. He was found shot dead in the church. The incident took place at Khadeeja Masjid in Salalah Saada around 10 am today.

It is not clear who fired the shots. A gun was found near his body. Police have reached the spot and are conducting a detailed investigation. Prayers were stopped at the church where the body was found. Authorities have not released further details. Other procedures will take place in the coming hours.
