The rider Salem Hamad Malhouf, the World Endurance Champion in the 2021 edition and the runner-up in the 2022 edition, announced that he is choosing between the mare “Hala” and the horse “Hadeer” to participate in the 2024 World Endurance Championship, over a distance of 160 kilometers, in the three-star category, next Saturday, on the fields of Montpazier, southwest France.
Malhouf arrived in the French capital, Paris, yesterday, with the rest of the UAE knights in preparation for participating in the World Championship competitions, after several stages of gradual preparation in the European Championships, and at the local level of preparations.
The Emirati champion said that he participated in four championships, including three in France and one in Portugal during the past period, reaching the best stage of preparation to take on the challenge that awaits him with the country’s knights in the World Endurance Championship, with the participation of about 191 male and female knights.
He added that “the UAE champions have proven their high ability to win first place in endurance championships,” and that winning the title and runner-up in the last two editions is the biggest motivation to compete again for first place in France.
