I have been a sadhvi since childhood and will be ahead. ” Mamta (Mamta Kulkarni) further said that the post of Mahamandaleshwar was given to me only as an honor. I am resigning so that the controversy over it ends.
He further said that I have been Sadhvi from the beginning and will stay further and it is not right to speak the Akharas wrong. He said that I saw that many people were saddened by my becoming Mahamandaleshwar and they are quarreling with each other, which is why I am resigning. Mamta Kulkarni, Mamta Kulkarni, reached Mahakumbh in Prayagraj and took his pindadan and took initiation of retirement.
After this he was named Yamai Mamta Nand Giri. Kinnar Akhara had patronized Mamta Kulkarni and gave her the title of Mahamandaleshwar. With this she became known as the sadhvi of the arena. He was initiated by Acharya Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi of Kinnar Akhara. After Pattabhishek, Mamta Kulkarni was given the title of Mahamandaleshwar and he was given the new name Shri Yamai Mamta Nand Giri.
