Trinamool Congress MLA Sonali Kuha has announced that she will join the BJP as she did not get a chance to contest the elections in West Bengal.
West Bengal is going to hold assembly elections for 294 constituencies in 8 phases. The ruling Trinamool Congress today announced its candidates for 291 constituencies. The election is expected to be a bitter rivalry between the Trinamool Congress and the BJP.
Similarly, the Left, the Congress and the secular front are facing elections as a third party. Thus the election field is heated. Incidents of party change are also taking place due to lack of space in the election.
Trinamool Congress MLA Sonali Kuha has announced that she will join the BJP as she did not get a chance to contest the elections in West Bengal. He said:
“My name is not on the list of candidates released by the Trinamool Congress party. I was kicked out by Mamta Banerjee. I spoke to Mukul Roy. I do not want to run in the election.
At the same time I asked him if he would get a responsible post in the BJP. He also agrees. What BJP is without Mamata Didi. I will join that party, ”he said.
