Vijayawada: A man who boarded the Vande Bharat train without taking a ticket had to travel 159 km to Vijayawada when the automatic door closed when he tried to take some selfies and get off. The man boarded the Vande Bharat train at Rajamahendravara railway station in Andhra Pradesh. This incident took place on the 15th.
The Railway Department has said: On January 15, a man boarded the Vande Bharat Express train that was standing at Rajamahendravaram railway station. He did not board the train. Boarded the train to take some selfies. So he didn’t buy any tickets. The man was looking around the train and taking a selfie when the train door closed automatically and took off. The panicked man tried to open the door. But he could not open the door.
After this he mentioned the matter to the ticket inspector. Then the ticket checker came to Bharat train with automatic doors. We cannot open them ourselves. He explained that the railway station will automatically open and close at the specified time.
The man was shocked to know this. The man had to travel 159 km to take a selfie without taking a ticket to the train’s next stop at Vijayawada. The railway staff advised the person and sent him away. The Railway Department has therefore warned visitors and those traveling without tickets not to board the train.
As many people come to the railway stations to see the Vande Bharat train and take pictures inside it, the railway administration has announced that after the arrival of the Vande Bharat train, notices will be issued at the respective railway stations not to board the train.
