English club Manchester City announced yesterday the transfer of its Argentine midfielder, Maximo Perrone, to the ranks of Como, newly promoted to the Italian First Division, on a loan contract until the end of the season.
Perrone signed for City last year from Argentina’s Velez Sarsfield and spent last season on loan at Spain’s Las Palmas, where he featured regularly for the team and helped them stay in the top flight.
Manchester United manager Pep Guardiola has agreed to let the 21-year-old go for a new professional experience under Como coach Cesc Fabregas.
Argentina Under-20 international Peroni has made two appearances for City.
