The Spanish newspaper “El Mundo” revealed that the Madrid police arrested a Manchester City player on charges of stealing a mobile phone from a 58-year-old man, who tried to take a picture of him without permission in the bathroom!
The newspaper reported that “Portuguese player Matheus Nunez, the Manchester City player, snatched the phone from the man, refusing to return it to him, which prompted the latter to file a complaint against him on September 8th of last year in a restaurant, while the phone is still in his possession.”
The newspaper said, “The police handcuffed the player before transferring him to the security center in the Arganzuela neighborhood, before releasing him hours later following the intervention of a lawyer, pending his trial in the case.”
