Manchester United set a date with its rivals and neighbors Manchester City in the FA Cup final, after beating Brighton 7-6 on penalties after the end of the original and extra time in a goalless draw in the semi-finals of the tournament.
And the two teams failed to translate the effort into goals throughout 90 minutes in normal time, or over the course of the two additional halves, to resort to penalty kicks that smiled at Manchester United, winning 7-6.
Casemiro, Diogo Dalot, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Marcel Sabitzer, Wouter Figurst and Victor Lindelof scored for Manchester United.
On the other hand, Alexis McLister, Pascal Gross, Deniz Ondev, Reeves Estupinan, Louis Dunk and Adam Webster scored for Brighton, while Sulley March missed.
Manchester United will play with its neighbor City in the championship final on the third of next June at Wembley Stadium.
