New Delhi. The last rites of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be performed with state honors today. His last rites will be performed at Nigam Bodh Ghat in New Delhi. Manmohan Singh died on Thursday night. After the former PM’s health deteriorated, he was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Thursday evening.
92-year-old Singh (Manmohan Singh) was brought to the emergency department of the hospital due to heart related problem. Where he was being treated but later the news of his death came to light. Manmohan Singh breathed his last at 9.51 pm on Thursday night.
The mortal remains of former PM Manmohan Singh has left the Congress headquarters on his last journey. Manmohan Singh’s mortal remains are being taken to Nigam Bodh Ghat for last rites. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also traveling in the special vehicle. The last rites of former PM Manmohan Singh will take place shortly. PM Modi will also attend the funeral.
