Mansour bin Mohammed welcomes the participants in the 22nd edition of the Dubai World Marathon

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, welcomed the male and female runners participating in the 22nd edition of the Dubai Marathon, professionals and amateurs of all ages and nationalities from inside and outside the UAE who are keen to participate in this fastest race among the world marathons. His Highness said, “We have completed all preparations to welcome all participants in this annual sporting event, which is one of the most important sporting events in the UAE and the region, and even worldwide in terms of road races. As it hosted many international championships, including the “Emirates Tour” for bicycles, which gives the event additional importance and reflects the status of sport in Dubai society in light of the support given by its government to sport and its keenness to encourage society in all its categories to practice it, and the result of this concern in providing the infrastructure infrastructure for major sporting events.

The Dubai Marathon is held with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and in cooperation with many government departments in Dubai.
