Lucknow. After the announcement of Congress party’s assembly siege, Congress leaders have started reaching Lucknow. During this time, to stop them, Congress leaders are being put under house arrest in the districts and barricades have been put up at various places. At the same time, RAF (Rapid Action Force) personnel have been deployed outside the Congress office in Lucknow.
On the other hand, the government is on alert after Congress announced assembly siege. The police have kept more than two dozen senior leaders including State Congress President Ajay Rai, General Secretary Organization Anil Yadav, Dinesh Singh under house arrest. Also, the police has issued notice to all the leaders asking them to stay in their homes. Not only this, Congress workers trying to reach Lucknow from many districts of the state have also been stopped.
Congress state president Ajay Rai said that sharp barricades have been installed here. These ‘spears’ will cause serious injury to our workers. This is happening for the first time. This government wants to kill our workers. Our workers are being stopped at Ghazipur border but we will enter the assembly even after all this. Meanwhile, the police has sent notices to more than two dozen senior leaders including state president Ajay Rai, outgoing state general secretary organization Anil Yadav, Dinesh Singh. Police security has been imposed at the house of these leaders since evening.
In the notice sent by the police, it has been said that the third session of the assembly is going on. In this, siege can pose a serious threat to law and order and security of specific people. Therefore, under the prohibitory order, Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code is effective. In such a situation, if there is any siege, protest or attempt to disturb the peace, then strictest action will be taken against you as per the rules.
