The health of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa (88 years old) has caused concern in recent weeks, following his absence from the Salzburg Festival, a classical music event that he loves and usually attends, and in which he was represented this time by his family.
However, to calm these rumors, Álvaro Vargas Llosa, son of the 2010 Nobel Prize for Literature, shared on X (formerly Twitter) two photographs of the author of ‘The City and the Dogs’. In one of them, he is seen holding hands with his ex-wife Patricia Llosa (78 years old), and in the other, he appears reading a book.

In one of the snapshots, you can see the Nobel Prize of Literature holding hands with his ex-wife Patricia Llosa to whom he was married for 50 years before announcing their separation in 2015. The writer subsequently began a romance with socialite and former model Isabel Preysler, a relationship that ended five years later.

In the aforementioned image, both of them, who are also cousins, appear smiling and sitting on a piece of furniture, attentive to the camera shot, which was presumably taken by the writer’s son.
It is still unknown whether the two have decided to resume their relationship. This is not the first time they have appeared together; last year they were seen walking through the streets of Spain. In addition, the writer has dedicated novels in honor of Patricia Llosa.
