New Delhi. Automobile major Maruti Suzuki India said on Saturday that the company had sold a total of 159,691 units in April 2021. According to the company, total sales for the month included domestic sales of 137,151 units, other OEM sales of 5,303 units and exports of 17,237 units.
The company sold 632 vehicles during April 2020 and 143,245 vehicles in 2019.
The company said in a statement that since the lockdown was imposed in the wake of the Kovid-19 in April 2020 and there were almost zero sales, it makes no sense to compare it to April 2020.
