Bengaluru. Only a few hours are left for the New Year celebrations to begin. The administration in Bengaluru has made preparations to ensure that the colors of the celebrations are not spoiled. Masks have been made mandatory for people attending New Year celebrations in public places. Bengaluru Police has also issued a statement banning whistling in public places.
Bengaluru Police on Tuesday banned whistling in public places on New Year’s Eve and made wearing masks mandatory. As preparations are being made to welcome the New Year in Bengaluru, the government and police have made elaborate security arrangements. More than 2,000 policemen will be deployed on MG Road, where more than one lakh people gather every year around midnight. Besides, tight security arrangements have also been made in Brigade Road, Church Street, Indiranagar, HSR Layout and Koramangala. More than 1,000 additional policemen have been deployed in Koramangala.
On the other hand, in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, the excitement of New Year celebrations is taking its toll on the tourists. Ridge Ground and Mall Road are seen packed with tourists. Every day thousands of tourist vehicles are heading towards Shimla. This has not only increased the beauty of the major tourist places of the city but is also reducing the problem of traffic jams.

For the first time after Ram Lalla was installed in the grand temple of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, the gathering of people has started in Ayodhya from Tuesday on the occasion of English New Year. Booking in hotels of Ayodhya has become full very fast. In this, devotees coming not only from the state but also from Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and South will be included. Almost 100 percent of the rooms are booked. Bookings are high from 31st December to 2nd January.
