Sad news for all music fans.
While other people are only halfway through their life at 44, it was Angelo Bruschini’s last birthday. The guitarist of the electronic band Massive Attack is dead.
The band announced this on Instagram, mourning their band member who was lost far too early. “Devastated. How lucky we were to share such a life together,” the music group wrote under a black and white photo of the guitarist. “Such a brilliant, eccentric talent. It is not possible to measure your contribution. Rest in peace.”
Massive Attack wrote electro-pop classics like “Unfinished Sympathy” (released in 1991)
In the 1990s, guitarist Angelo Bruschini joined Massive attack, remained loyal to his band until the end. The group wrote mega hits like “Teardrop” and “Unfinished Sympathy,” among others.
Angelo Bruschini suffered from lung cancer
The band members leave it open exactly what caused Angelo’s death. What is known, however, is that the guitarist… Lung cancer suffered. It seems that Angelo has lost this bitter battle.
It wasn’t until July that he spoke about his serious illness. “Had a great life, seen the world many times, met many wonderful people, but the door is closing, I think I’ll write a book,” he said, according to “ news.de”.
The book never existed. But his music lives forever.
