Chandigarh. Two youths on a bike set off two explosions outside The Ora Club located in Sector 26. However, it is not yet known what caused the blasts. There was no loss of life in these explosions but the glass of the club was broken.
After receiving the information, heavy police force has reached the spot or the matter may be related to recovery. Even before this, gangsters have extorted money from many nightclub operators and many have also received threats. A few days ago, a young man who had an agency for sending bouncers in Kalbo was also fatally attacked for not paying the ransom.
Chandigarh Police has also called forensic experts on the spot. Officers and forensic experts are engaged in the investigation. Till now no official statement has come from the police or administration. An employee of Deora-Alehouse and Kitchen restaurant said, “We came out after hearing a loud bang. The glass of the door was broken, after which we complained to the police. There were 7-8 employees inside the restaurant (nightclub) at the time of the blast. No one was injured. CCTV is not working. “The incident happened around 3:15 in the morning, when the restaurant was closed.”
According to the police, initial investigation found that this was a case of mutual enmity. Due to which this (nightclub) blast has been done to spread fear. The forensic team is collecting evidence. Chandigarh Police officers are present at the spot. Efforts are being made to arrest the accused.
