BCB has reported that it will set up an independent committee which will work closely with their anti -corruption unit which is currently investigating the fixing case in BPL. Many big stars of the world are also playing in BPL. There are reports of Match Fixing in the current season of BPL. It has been reported in several media reports that the BCB ACU has taken eight matches under suspicion.

In these eight matches, ACU is suspicious of match fixing and spot fixing. According to the report of Cricbuzz, 10 players are in the eyes of ACU while ACU is also keeping an eye on four franchises. Out of the 10 players who are suspicious, six have played for Bangladesh national team. At the same time, two are unaccounted players from Bangladesh while two are foreign cricketers. Among the francies who are eyeing, the doubt of court monarchy and Dhaka capitals is more deep. The committee is also suspicious of Silhet Strikers and Chitgaon Kings.
After reports of match fixing and spot -fixing, BCB President Farooq Ahmed has told Cricbuj that strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. After the formation of the Anti Corruption Unit, the BCB has said that it is committed to maintaining the integrity of the league.
