LucknowThe SIT team formed to investigate the stampede in the Hathras satsang submitted its report to the Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday. There is no mention of the names of Narayan Sakar Hari and Bhole Baba in this entire SIT report. Now Mayawati has raised questions on this report and has cornered the government.
Mayawati posted on her Twitter account and wrote, this report is not in accordance with the seriousness of the incident, but is more politically motivated. On social media, Mayawati wrote, ‘The tragic death of 121 innocent women and children etc. in the stampede at the Satsang in Hathras district of UP is a living proof of government negligence, but the report presented to the government by the SIT seems to be more politically motivated than in accordance with the seriousness of the incident, this is very sad.’
In this report of SIT, it has been told that the negligence of the event organizers is the main reason behind the incident. Along with this, SIT has also held the local administration responsible. 121 people died in the incident that took place on July 2 in Hathras. After this incident, the SIT of ADG Zone Agra and Divisional Commissioner Aligarh inspected the spot on July 2, 3 and 5.
During the investigation, statements of a total of 125 people were taken, including statements of administrative and police officials as well as the general public and eyewitnesses. Apart from this, copies of news published in connection with the incident, on-site videography, photographs, video clippings were taken into consideration.
