Lucknow. Bahujan Samaj Party’s national president Mayawati has attacked Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress while recalling the Guest House scandal. She said that on 2 June 1995, when SP withdrew support, a murderous attack was made on me.
During that time, the Congress government at the centre also did not fulfill its responsibility in time. Why does Congress never speak on this? Mayawati said that at that time the entire opposition including BJP had fulfilled its responsibility in saving me from the criminal elements of SP on the basis of humanity and humaneness, then why is Congress having trouble in between.

BSP chief (Mayawati) said that at that time the intention of the Congress government at the center had also become bad, which wanted to run its government from behind the scenes by imposing President’s rule in UP after some unpleasant incident. Apart from this, BSP has been putting full pressure on the Congress at the center and now BJP for caste census for years, the party has been in favor of it for years.
Further Mayawati said that after the caste census, will the Congress be able to give the people of SC-ST and OBC category their due rights? Those who are silent till now on the classification and creamy layer in SC-ST reservation should answer. Mayawati said that there is no question of my retirement from active politics. Ever since the party has made Akash Anand the successor of BSP in my absence or serious ill health, the casteist media has been propagating such false news so that people remain cautious.
