Lucknow. Protest of candidates continues outside the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) office in Prayagraj. The students demand that PCS and RO/ARO exams should be conducted in one day and one shift. BSP chief Mayawati has come out in support of the protesting students.
She (Mayawati) has demanded from the government on the social media platform Regarding this, the sooner the government completes the recruitment process on all the vacant backlogs, the better.
Mayawati wrote on Twitter, “Situation arising out of police action on angry students over the failure of the Uttar Pradesh Union Public Service Commission to conduct the preliminary examination of PCS and RO-2024 (RO/ARO exam) at the same time.” It is natural for the news to be widely discussed. Does UP so lack the infrastructure to conduct exams (RO/ARO exams) at one time that specific exams like PCS etc. have to be conducted in two days?

Further he (Mayawati) wrote that, “Prohibition of paper leaks and credibility of examinations is an important issue, for which a one-time examination (RO/ARO exam) system is necessary. The government should pay attention to this. Also, the attitude of the government towards the students who are facing the brunt of poverty, unemployment and inflation etc. should not be cruel but of cooperation and sympathy. Regarding this, the sooner the government completes the recruitment process on all the vacant backlogs, the better. “People are in dire need of livelihood.”
