Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati has teased Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav on how he can keep others in the PM’s post if his chief ministerial dream is not fulfilled. He also questioned how the people who won only 5 seats in the last Lok Sabha election could talk and think like this.
Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party, said in a post on her Twitter page:
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav dreamed of becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. But the U.P. He could not even fulfill his chief ministerial dream in the legislative elections. Akhilesh Yadav’s dream of becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will never come true.
When the Samajwadi Party leader is unable to fulfill his own dream of becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh even after winning the votes of Muslims and Yadavs and forming alliances with many parties, how can he fulfill the desire of someone else to become the Prime Minister?
If Dalits, Muslims and OBCs supported the Bahujan Samaj Party, we would have ruled in UP for sure. People from this community call me UP. Can make him prime minister or prime minister of the country. They need to realize that the BJP wants their own good without supporting other parties.
He formed an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Even after forming an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party, he managed to win only five seats in the last general election in Uttar Pradesh. Then how can he make himself prime minister. The Samajwadi Party must stop such childish talk
Whether I become the Prime Minister or the Prime Minister in the future, the welfare of the weak and marginalized is important to me. That’s why I say I will never run for president. Only if the Chief Minister is in a position like the Prime Minister can he do something for the people.
Thus he said.
The Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party formed an alliance and contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. It is noteworthy that Akhilesh had then announced that he would make Mayawati the Prime Minister if the coalition won.
