Shabab Al-Ahly Club cyclist, Saif Mayouf, won first place in the General League Road Cycling Race, which was held in the Nizwa region for categories (adults, under 23 years, teams, and citizen amateurs), with the participation of 75 cyclists, for a distance of 132 kilometers.
The national team cyclist, Mayouf, succeeded in obtaining the gold medal, the team leader, Ahmed Al Mansouri, won the silver medal, and Osama Sabahi from the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club won the bronze medal.
In the under-23 competitions, Nicola Alexander from the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club came in first place, followed by Maxime Arkov from Al-Nasr Club in second place, and Karim Mohammed from Al-Hamriyah Club in third place.
In the general individual competitions, Rashid Mohammed Ibrahim from the APH team came first, followed by Saeed Kahour from Dubai Police in second place, and his teammate Abdullah Mohammed Al Hajj in third place. The competitions also witnessed the Masters race (over 40 years old) and amateur teams, all of which were for citizens only. .
The winners were crowned by the President of the Cycling Federation, Eng. Mansour Bouasiba, the Secretary-General of the Emirates Cycling Federation, Dr. Yasser Al-Doukhi, and representatives of the participating clubs.
