The Minister of Industry and Trade, Riad Mazour, praised the great role that the “Hanout Mall” plays in the Moroccan societal fabric.
Riad Mazour, Minister of Industry and Trade, said during a presentation and discussion session of the ministry’s sub-budget in the House of Representatives that the “Hanout Mall” enjoys the trust of the Moroccan citizen, so the ministry wants to develop its commercial activity.
Mazur confirmed that the Ministry plans to integrate this category of society into the digital commerce system, in order to achieve some kind of integration.
The minister added that, with the emergence of distribution networks and the digital economy, the “Hanout Mall” has become in need of diversification, especially since 90 percent of Moroccans prefer payment after delivery, so the grocery owner’s involvement in e-commerce will enable him to take a margin of profit.
The same spokesman highlighted that his ministry is also considering ways to finance the supermarket mall, through the banking sector, in order to continue providing their services to Moroccans without compromising their social status.
