The MBC Group announced, in a statement today, the spread of fabricated letters that are being circulated in some media and social media as being issued by one or some channels, platforms or platforms of the “MBC Group” regarding the “Muawiya” series.
And she said: “MBC Group” is important to clarify that those letters bearing MBC logos are baseless and forged letters, and they impersonate the group, so whoever transmits or promotes them, intentionally or unintentionally, will put himself under duly legal accountability.
MBC Group also states that the series “Muawiya” is still being prepared, both technically and productively, and the date of its broadcast will be announced as soon as it is ready.
And the “MBC Group” stressed that the data related to the group is that which is officially issued by it and distributed through its media office from its headquarters (MBC Press Office), and that the only reliable source of information related to MBC productions, shows, program schedules and media content is MBC screens, platforms and official pages.
