Meerut. Raj Mistry and his entire family, living in a rented house in Sohail Garden, Lisadigate, Meerut, were brutally murdered. This incident of murder of five people of the same family in a crowded area of the city has created a sensation in the area. Forensic team was called for investigation.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, all the top officials of the police administration including Commissioner Selva Kumari J, ADG DK Thakur, DIG Kalanidhi Naithani, DM Deepak Meena and SSP Dr. Vipin Tada reached the spot. Police forces and a large number of women policemen from police stations across the city were summoned.
According to the information received, the family of Moin, son of Naseer, who works as a mason and is originally from Roorkee, lives on rent in Sajid’s house in Suhail Garden, Lisadigate. About two months ago, after selling his house and land in Roorkee, Moin came to Meerut with his wife Asma and three daughters, Aqsa, 8 years old, Adiba, 2.5 years old and another six-month old infant. He had bought a plot in Sohail Garden, Lisadigate.
Moin had put a lantern on this plot last evening. After sending the labourers, he returned home to his family. No one had seen him since then. The main gate of the rented house where he lived was locked. Moin’s elder brother Taslim lives in Paudina area of the same area. Taslim had been dialing his brother’s mobile since morning. The switch was continuously going off. Taslim’s another brother Mobin also lives in Sohail Garden. He asked Mobin where Moin was. Information was also taken on mobile from the two brothers who live outside but no clue was found. In the evening, Tasleem and Mobin reached Moin’s house while searching.
