Chennai: Annamalai met Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi yesterday regarding the issue of AIADMK-BJP alliance breakup. He is said to have been given various advices by senior BJP leaders. Nirmala Sitharaman is going to submit the explanations given by Annamalai to Amit Shah as a report. Based on that, it is said that the BJP will take the next step.
Since the end of the Legislative Assembly elections, there has been a continuous trend of conflict between AIADMK and BJP. In this case, the AIADMK has now withdrawn from the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. The party’s state president Annamalai had planned to hold a consultation with the BJP executives today (October 3).
Sudden trip to Delhi: In this case, Annamalai, who was on a walking tour in Coimbatore, suddenly left for Delhi by plane the day before yesterday. There, Annamalai met BJP National President JP Natta and National Organization General Secretary PL Chandosh.
They have questioned Annamalai regarding her continued harsh criticism of the coalition parties. The head of the state should act according to the ideology and thoughts of the BJP. They are also advised not to express their own opinions and act accordingly.
Also, they seem to have said that Annamalai’s criticism of the BJP state president’s post is not acceptable. They have given many suggestions to Annamalai on the way to behave towards the allies.
In this case, Annamalai met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman yesterday evening.
Nirmala Sitharaman had already submitted a report to the BJP top brass about the consequences of the alliance break and whether the BJP could form a strong alliance without the AIADMK. In this situation, during yesterday’s meeting with Nirmala Sitharaman, Annamalai gave various explanations regarding the issue of alliance break.
Long Term Meeting: In this long meeting, Nirmala Sitharaman is going to report the explanations given by Annamalai to Amit Shah.
Similarly, JP Natta and PL Chandosh are also going to convey the explanations given by Annamalai to Amit Shah.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu BJP is also considering appointing new top officials. BJP officials said that Annamalai will continue the walk in Tamil Nadu and successfully complete it.
Meanwhile, the details of when Annamalai will hold consultations with the BJP officials regarding the alliance issue in Tamil Nadu will be announced in a day or two. BJP officials said that the general secretary of the national organization PL Chandosh will also attend the meeting.
