Argentine football star, Lionel Messi, launched a real estate investment fund in the Spanish market at a price of 57.4 euros per share, bringing the fund’s market value to 223 million euros ($232.12 million).
Messi, the current Inter Miami player and former Barcelona striker, assumed the chairmanship of the board of directors of Edificio Rostaur Sothemi, according to documents published by the Portfolio Stock Exchange, a European alternative market, under the supervision of the Bank of Spain (the Spanish Central Bank). According to the documents, Edificio Rostaur Sothemi owns seven hotels in Spain and Andorra, three office spaces, and five apartments, in addition to apartments in London and Paris.
