San Francisco. Meta will reportedly release a web version of Threads this week.
As per The Verge report, since the launch of Threads, it does not have a web version.
Earlier this month, Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg had said that the company would bring a web version in the next few weeks.
However, sources told The Wall Street Journal that the launch plan for the feature is yet to be finalized and could change.
Last week, Instagram head Adam Mosseri posted on threads that the company has been testing the web version internally for a week or so, but it still needs some work before a wider release.
In addition, Mosseri announced a new “Repost” tab on profiles and reposts on the Following feed.
He wrote in the Threads post, “Two small updates to Threads: We’re rolling out a new repost tab on your profile so you can see all of your reposted threads in one place. Based on your feedback, we’ll be adding more posts to your followings.” Also adding repost to feed.
Responding to a user’s post, Mosseri had said, “Desktop will be long before web foldable support. We are close on web and not working on foldable.” (IANS)
