San Francisco. Tech giant Microsoft has announced that it is introducing Viva Engage, a new app for Teams that helps build community and connection while also providing tools for personal expression. Viva Engage brings people from across the organization together to connect with leaders and colleagues, find answers to questions, share their unique story, and find belonging at work.
“Leaders can share news and insights, answer questions and facilitate two-way conversations, which help keep employees listened to and engaged,” the company said in a blogpost.
“With the Storyline and Stories features, employees can connect with colleagues and share their ideas, expertise, passions and ideas,” the company added.
But employee experience is much more than that, the company said. It is about helping employees excel in their jobs, be it sales, marketing, finance or IT.
The social app for digital communities, conversations, and self-expression tools builds on the existing capabilities of the Communities app for Teams and Microsoft 365.
