Dharmavaram YSR Congress MLA Kethireddy Venkataramireddy has warned that he will not rest if mudslinging is done against him again. MLA Kethi Reddy reacted strongly to the allegations made against him by former MLA Varadapuram Suri. Varadapuram Suri said that they are mired in corruption and irregularities. He fired that they are trying to mislead people by making false accusations against him without any evidence. Suri is an out-dated politician. The behavior of such impersonal people is disgusting. MLA Kethi Reddy has warned that he will not stand still if they see mudslinging on him again.
MLA Kethireddy said that in 2015, during Suri’s tenure as an MLA, a private company had purchased land at Garudampalli in Dharmavaram mandal to set up a solar project. But the representatives of the said company were charged Rs. It is said that those who could not give that much after demanding 4 crores left without setting up the company. At that time there were articles in all the newspapers on this matter and they were shown to the media. MLA Kethi Reddy explained that if the said private company sold the land to another company after these years, he paid money from that company and bought it at the market price. He asked if this is wrong.
MLA Kethireddy said that since his grandfather was the president of the Samiti, they were landlords and did not rise to the top by drinking the blood of the poor like Varadapuram Suri. Suri says that they are related to DGP and he wants to know how DGP is related to him. He made it clear that he will not misuse power like him. During the same Suri TDP government, when JV Ramu was the DGP, he questioned if it was true that Swaira had said that he would be his uncle.
