The calendar of marine races at the Dubai International Marine Club, during the month of February, is full of many diverse marine sports events, within the agenda of the 2022-2023 sports season.
A press release stated that the Dubai International Marine Club is preparing to organize a series of competitive and community marine sports activities, starting next Saturday, which will witness the launch and establishment of two events, the first is the start of the second round of the Dubai Kayak Fishing Championship, and the second is the Dubai Modern Rowing Boat Race ( The second round of the Emirates Championship), which enters the calendar of club activities for the first time, and includes 16 races, in the singles, doubles, and quadruple categories for men and women, under 17, under 19, under 23, and adults.
Fishing enthusiasts in Dubai are awaiting the launch of the first round of the Dubai Fishing Championship (Kingfish and Skull), which will be organized by the club over four days, from the ninth to the 12th of next February, as the Dubai International Marine Sports Club allocated 200,000 dirhams in total prizes for the participants. In this round, 170,000 dirhams will be awarded to the first to 13th place winners in the Kingfish category, and 30,000 dirhams will be awarded to the first places for the fish.
The Dubai International Marine Sports Club is organizing the activities of the Dubai Fishing Championship (Kanad and Skull) in its new look for the fourth season in a row, as part of its continuous interest in providing opportunities for competition for various segments of society, and increasing those interested in marine sports, by attracting various groups, which enhances the role of the club towards Society.
