New Delhi: Mallikarjuna Kharge has alleged that the Modi-led government has failed in the education sector. He has made this allegation by pointing to the recently published report of the education status for the year 2022.
In a tweet posted by Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge, the Modi government’s report card on education status also gets an “F”. He said that F means fail. He also pointed to the news of the latest Annual Report on Education Status (ASER 2022).
Accordingly, the number of third grade students in government and private schools who could read the second grade textbook was 27.3 percent in 2018. It has decreased to 20 percent in 2022. Likewise, the number of 5th grade students who can read the 2nd grade textbook has also decreased from 50.5 percent in 2018 to 42.8 percent in 2022.
Earlier, he lashed out at Modi for issuing 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits when there were 30 lakh vacancies.
