- New Kovid cases registered in all states
- 27,561 cases in Delhi and 21,390 in Karnataka

In Delhi, 27,561 new cases and 40 deaths were registered. 14,957 recovered. Currently there are 87445 active cases. The positivity rate was 26.22 percent. In Karnataka, 21,390 new cases were registered and ten people died. There were 12,742 new cases and 199 deaths in Kerala. 9,941 cases were reported in Gujarat, 13,681 in UP and 3,639 in Madhya Pradesh. While 22,155 new cases were registered in West Bengal, 23 people died. In the country, 1,94,720 new cases were registered on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a video conference with the CMs of all the states on Thursday in view of the rising number of Kovid cases in the country. The meeting will discuss the policies being adopted by the states to curb the virus. As well as the vaccination process, medical facilities in hospitals will be reviewed. However, Kovid sanctions are already in place in all states. Night curfews and weekend curfews are also in place.
