The Moscow Government presented several large-scale projects in the field of development and management of the metropolis at the annual conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” (CIPR). Among them is the digital twin of the city and the Mos.Oblako information system, Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalya Sergunina said.
The Digital Twin project is based on a photogrammetric model of Moscow. Photogrammetrics is a way of creating three-dimensional images using photographs taken from different angles. The project required 16 million aerial photographs. The virtual map displays over 3.2 thousand square meters. km. territory of the capital.
“Projects such as the Digital Twin help to plan the development of the city and constantly improve the quality of life. Thanks to a high-precision three-dimensional map, you can understand in advance how a particular object will fit into the existing infrastructure and architectural appearance of the area, how to ensure transport accessibility, and so on. The system allows you to analyze every step to the smallest detail, ”said Sergunina.
The digital twin contains a variety of information about objects, for example, data on building permits issued, as well as on organizations that are located in buildings. All information is updated regularly.
The second major technological project that Moscow presented at the conference is the ERP platform (Enterprise Resource Planning) Mos.Cloud. It integrates and automates the work processes of city departments. The information system allows you to plan the budget, keep accounting records, manage personnel and property. Key information and analytics are accumulated and sent to managers.
The CIPR conference takes place from 1 to 3 June in Nizhny Novgorod. This is one of the largest events in the country dedicated to the digital economy, the transformation of industry and the implementation of the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”.
In 2018, at the initiative of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the My District program was launched in the capital, the goal of which is to create comfortable living conditions in all urban areas. As part of the program, a modern urban environment is being formed, transport accessibility is improving, the quality of education and medical care is being improved, additional opportunities for sports are being created, existing cultural sites are being updated and new ones are being opened. A set of specific transformations depends on the wishes of local residents.
