Bangalore: The second phase of metro rail project is progressing rapidly in Bengaluru. Workers are engaged in erecting pillar from Hennur main road to HRPR lay-out.
40 feet high pillar: In this case, yesterday morning, a 40 feet high pillar which was being built at Nagawara suddenly collapsed. Lohit (32), his wife Tejaswini (28), his son Vihan (2) and daughter Veena (2), who were traveling on a motorbike on the road, were injured. Tejaswini and her son Vihan died on the way to the hospital. The other two are undergoing intensive care.
