On the eve of the elections in Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will receive a museum dedicated to his personality. This was announced on January 12 by Turkish journalist Murat Sabuncu on the website of the T24 portal.
According to a media representative, the museum will appear in the Kasimpasa district in Istanbul, where the first years of the Turkish leader’s life passed. The exposition will consist of photographs and video installations with frames from the biography of the head of state.
Also, visitors will be shown the genealogical tree of the Erdogan family. They will tell how he played football for various Istanbul youth clubs while studying at the university, and even spent several months in prison.
The exposition dedicated to the work of Erdogan as president of the country will present the most important speeches of the head of state. Among them are speeches at the UN, as well as his participation in the return of the status of the Hagia Sophia mosque.
The museum will also show exhibits dedicated to members of the president’s family, especially his wife Emine (née Gulbaran).
Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the 12th President of Turkey, who has been in office since August 28, 2014.
