Yesterday, Thursday, Twitter owner Elon Musk announced the addition of a new exclusive feature for subscribers of the paid service “Twitter Blue”, to be added to many other features.
Musk said in a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account: Verified Twitter Blue subscribers can now upload two-hour videos, or the equivalent of 8 GB.

The new advertisement comes within the framework of Twitter’s efforts to attract more subscribers to the paid service, which the company, behind it Mask, hopes to increase the company’s revenues, which suffered from great financial difficulties before Mask acquired it, and then increased it.
The feature of long videos of up to two hours comes after the encrypted direct message feature that was announced last week, and after two other features that were launched in early April, namely: the appearance of ads by half, and the prioritization of the appearance of replies in conversations and searches.
On the support page for the (Twitter Blue) service, the company described the new feature by saying: “Publish more content with your followers. (Twitter Blue) subscribers can upload videos of up to approximately two hours with a file size of up to 8 GB and a resolution of 1080p.”
And Twitter alerted that the new feature is currently only available through twitter.com and Apple’s iOS operating system.
It is noteworthy that the new feature is the first after the announcement of a new CEO of Twitter, Linda Iaccarino, who said last Saturday in her tweet that she was influenced by Musk’s vision to create a brighter future, and that she is excited to help transform the social networking platform.
Musk announced the appointment of Iacarino last Friday, and the billionaire has held the position of CEO of Twitter since his acquisition of it in a deal worth $ 44 billion on October 28 last.
