San Francisco. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has donated $10 million to a fertility and population research project in Texas, US.
According to Bloomberg report
Musk, the 52-year-old tech billionaire father of 10 children with three women, donated money to the Population Wellbeing Initiative (PWI), a project based at the University of Texas at Austin, through his charitable arm the Musk Foundation.
X Owner recently funded a two-day PWI conference.
A joint program between the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Population Research and its Department of Economics, PWI’s website describes it as “a network of researchers who do foundational work in economics, demography, and social welfare evaluation.”
Musk believes that wealth is directly related to IQ and has urged “all the rich people you know” to have as many children as possible.
Musk once tweeted, “Doing my best to help with the underpopulation crisis.” “The declining birth rate is the greatest threat civilization has ever faced.”
