The American billionaire owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, once again sounded the alarm, warning of the dangers of artificial intelligence to humanity, claiming that the famous chat bot Chatgpt has a “liberal bias”, indicating that he plans to confront it through his innovation of artificial intelligence.
Musk told “Fox News” host Tucker Carlson in a segment that aired Monday night that he plans to create an alternative to the popular AI chatbot ChatGPT he calls “TruthGPT,” which would serve as “maximum truth-seeking for AI trying to understand the nature of Universe”.
In the first of a two-part interview with Carlson, Musk also called for regulating artificial intelligence, calling it “more dangerous” than cars or missiles and saying it has the potential to destroy humanity.
Musk invested in OpenAl
Musk was an early investor in OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, and co-chaired its board of directors when it was founded in 2015 as a nonprofit AI research lab.
But Musk only lasted there for a few years, stepping down from the board in early 2018 in a move the San Francisco startup linked to Tesla’s work building automated driving systems.
“As Tesla continues to focus more on AI, this will reduce the chances of a future conflict with Musk,” OpenAI said in a February 2018 blog post.
“has left-wing views”
It is reported that in the days following the November 30 release of ChatGPT, Musk tweeted to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman complaining that the news media did not cover the event extensively because ChatGPT is not far from “voicing left-wing opinions.”
Since then, Musk has repeatedly highlighted examples he says show left-wing bias or censorship.
