Tonight, Muslims in the region and the world are celebrating the most special night in the Islamic calendar, Laylat al-Qadr, Anatolia reports.
The Mubarek night Lejletul-Qadr began tonight with the evening prayer, and it was marked by appropriate programs in mosques throughout the region.
Lejletul-kard night was also celebrated in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, where a large number of believers gathered in the Bajrakli mosque.
Muslims in Montenegro also celebrated one of the most important nights in the Islamic calendar with joint prayers tonight. On the occasion of commemorating the 27th night of the month of Ramadan, special lectures were held in mosques in Montenegro after teravih prayers.
The central ceremony on the occasion of Lejlet-l-kadr in Podgorica was held in the Osmanagića mosque, which was filled with believers.
In Skopje, the Mustafa Pasha mosque was one of those where a large number of believers gathered and where the central program of the Mufti of Skopje – the Islamic Religious Community (BFI) of North Macedonia was organized.
And the “Sultan Murat” mosque in Priština was also filled with believers, who also prayed outside the building.
The central ceremony on the occasion of Lejlet-l-Kadr in Sarajevo was held before the teravih prayers in Gazi Husrev-beg’s mosque, which was filled with believers.
Laylat al-Qadr is the most chosen night of the year for Muslims. On this night, the revelation of the Qur’an, God’s last revelation and instructions to mankind, began. It is the night that Muslims believe determines destiny and in which a person can earn forgiveness from sins.
In the Qur’anic Surah Al-Qadr, which is dedicated to this very night, Laylatul-Qadr is said to be more valuable than 1,000 months.
By the way, in all mosques of the Islamic community in BiH and the diaspora, this night will be marked with special prayers and programs.
