AP High Court Judge Justice Battu Devanand expressed his grief that the Telugu race has become a disgrace. After the completion of 75 years of the country’s independence, he urged everyone to reconsider the situation of the Telugu people.
“We can say great.. What have we actually achieved after independence? Is it possible to claim that this is the capital of the state? My daughter studying in Delhi was asked ‘Which is your capital?’ They are teasing. The Telugu nation is currently in a position where even our children bow their heads. Caste, politics, selfishness.. writers are responsible for changing these characteristics. Justice Battu Devanand said that only poets have the power to make people aware.
