“My mother is the reason why I am where I am today. He raised two daughters on his own. Life was not easy for Amma. But he was determined to make a better life for us. A pillar of faith that supports me. Amma is happy and proud to see me dancing for the country. “My mother is my hero,” he said.
Sandhya, 26, was born in Panruti, Tamil Nadu. Forward player. He has been playing for the Indian team since 2018. Has registered 7 international goals. Since 2016, he has been playing in various football club teams in the senior division. Currently, Gokulam is in the Kerala team. She won the Most Valuable Player award in the 2018-19 Indian Women’s League season.
