By the end of this year, inflation in Russia will be slightly above 8%. This was announced on Monday, December 27, by the head of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina in a commentary on the Vesti program of the Russia 1 channel.
“I think that by the end of the year we will have inflation a little more than 8%, this is a lot, this is more than our target of 4%. And it is clear that Rosstat counts 8% for a wide range of goods, and those goods that we follow have increased in price, for example, food, ”Nabiullina said.
On the eve of the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov called inflation a big headache for the government. Inflation is a disease from which the whole world is suffering at the moment, said Peskov.
