The UAE Pro League announced the winners of the monthly best awards for the month of August in the ADNOC Pro League for the current season 2024-2025, sponsored by Etisalat, for the categories of best player, goalkeeper and coach.
The best player award was won by Adel Taarabt, Al Nasr player, beating Sardar Azmoun (Shabab Al Ahli), Sofiane Rahimi (Al Ain), Othman Camara (Sharjah), and Anatol Abang (Al Bataeh).
Abdullah Al Tamimi, Al Nasr goalkeeper, was crowned the best goalkeeper, beating the duo Zayed Ahmed (Al Wahda) and Adel Al Hosani (Sharjah).
Al Nasr coach Alfred Schroeder won the Coach of the Month award, beating out Cosmin Olario (Sharjah) and Ronny Dela (Al Wahda).
The voting process was carried out by the public, via the website and the smartphone application, during the 24 hours allocated for voting.
The association announced the names of the nominees in the three categories, and invited the clubs’ fans to participate and decide the awards for their favorite stars.
