Argentine singer and actress Natalia Oreiro visited Russia for the first time after obtaining citizenship. She announced this on Friday, December 10, to her fans live on her VKontakte page.
“I am back in Russia. I came to use my passport for the first time, ”Oreiro shared.
According to the artist, the reason for her arrival was her participation in the restart of the series “Wild Angel”. At the same time, the singer clarified that she would not stay in the country for Christmas, since her family, including her son Merlin, was waiting for her in Argentina.
In addition, the artist said that she was preparing a tour of the Russian Federation. Also, according to her, she is going to star in a Russian film and release a song in Russian.
“We couldn’t do it two years ago. We will try to come next year and we are doing it now. Since I am now a Russian woman, it is imperative to make a Russian concert, ”she said.
On November 10, it became known that Natalia Oreiro and her son received Russian citizenship. The document was presented to the artist by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Argentina Dmitry Feoktistov in the building of the Russian diplomatic mission. Oreiro read the oath in Russian and Spanish, thanking the ambassador.
After that, the artist expressed a desire to record a duet with Russian ballerina Anastasia Volochkova and singer Olga Buzova. Prior to that, she declared her desire to play a strong Russian woman. At the same time, she noted that she would like to play just a simple Russian worker, and not a celebrity.
