The Vice President of the Emirates Golf Federation, Major General Pilot “Ret.” Abdullah Al Sayed Al Hashemi, announced the hosting of six promising male and female players from Lebanon to participate in the camp currently being held in Morocco.
The national golf teams camp will be held with the participation of 20 male and female players from all age groups, from July 29 to August 17.
Al-Hashemi said: “The aim of the presence of Lebanese players, both male and female, with players from Morocco and Saudi Arabia at the UAE camp headquarters at the Dar Al Salam Golf Club is to benefit from joint training, amidst a competitive atmosphere to enhance skills and develop capabilities, in cooperation with the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation.”
He stressed that the hosting comes within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the UAE and Lebanese federations, and targets developmental aspects at the administrative and technical levels.
He pointed out the Federation’s keenness to invest all periods of the camp to improve the physical and technical aspects.
