Nawazuddin Siddiqui, his mother Mehrunisa and wife Zainab have been at loggerheads for some time now. However, Mehrunisa Siddiqui has filed a police complaint alleging that Zainab had a fight with her recently and cursed her badly. Based on her complaint, the Versova police registered an FIR against Zainab and filed cases under sections 452, 323, 504, 506 of the IPC.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Zainab got married in 2010. They also have two children. Son’s name is Yani Siddiqui and daughter’s name is Shora Siddiqui. Zainab is the second wife of Nawazuddin. However, in 2020, Zainab sent a legal notice to Nawazuddin to divorce him. In the notice, Zainab stated that she was suffering from domestic violence and hence wanted a divorce. She alleged that her husband Nawazuddin Siddiqui never raised his hand against her, but his brother Shamus Siddiqui was beating her.
However, in 2021, Zainab took back her decision. Decided to live with Nawazuddin. Zainab told the media that her husband used to not spend any time with his children, but now he is surprised by his behavior. Nawaz said that they resolved all the issues between them and decided to live together.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui responded after Zainab first spoke to the media about their family problems. Speaking to Bombay Times, Siddiqui said, “I don’t like to talk about my personal life outside. I never speak ill of anyone. I don’t let negativity and hate get to me. She is still the mother of my children. We shared life for a decade. I will always stand by her,” said Siddiqui.
However, now judging by the complaint lodged by Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother with the police, it seems that Nawazuddin has no involvement in this case. It looks like a fight between daughter-in-law and aunt. Let’s see how Nawazuddin Siddiqui reacts to this.
