New Delhi: The Central Road Transport Department has issued a notification to provide online 58 transport related services including driving license, vehicle registration, license renewal.
The number of vehicles in our country like two wheelers, 3 wheelers and 4 wheelers are increasing day by day. Due to this, the demand for various services including vehicle registration, driving license for driving vehicles, national permit for transporting vehicles across the country is increasing day by day.
Thus, RTO offices are one of the government offices that are always PC. People have to wait for a long time to get service and face difficulties. To put an end to these, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has taken steps to make 58 transport-related services online.
For this, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has launched a website www.parivahan.gov.in, through which you can apply for Prakakunar Licence, Driving Licence, Change of Name, Change of Address, Change of Date of Birth, Change of Photo, Change of Signature, Operator’s Licence, Vehicle Registration, International Driving It has announced that 58 services including license can be obtained online. Fees for these services can also be paid online.
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said that those who have Aadhaar number can avail this service online using it and those without Aadhaar number can go directly to RTO offices and avail the service.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said that the move would avoid the need to visit the District Transport Office, which would save public time and reduce regulatory burden.
