New Delhi: On the 9th of this month, a GoFirst flight from Bengaluru to Delhi failed to carry 55 passengers. The Directorate of Civil Aviation had sent a notice to the company seeking an explanation in this regard. In this case, the company has been fined Rs. 10 lakhs yesterday.
The Air Transport Directorate said, “From the reply sent by Go First, it is clear how negligent the company has been in picking up passengers. Go First has not made adequate arrangements in boarding passengers and managing passengers’ luggage. Due to this violation, a fine of Rs. 10 lakh is imposed on the company.
