New Moon Seen In Saudi Arabia, Tomorrow Is Eid; Saturday In Oman

Tomorrow is a short holiday in the Gulf countries. Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal after a month of Ramadan fasting. Based on the sighting of the moon, the Astronomy Center informed that tomorrow is a festival. Special arrangements were made for seeing the moon. Oman’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that Eidul Fitr will be on Saturday, the first of Shawwal, ending the 30th of Ramadan. In most Arab and Islamic countries, the moon is seen with the naked eye or through a telescope. 29 This time believers celebrate a short festival after fasting.
